Introduction to the Process Flow
1. Cold Extrusion System: Prepared raw materials are fed into the hopper of the cold extrusion machine; the material is extruded through the discharge outlet, forming products such as strips or sheets depending on the specific mold used.
2. Haul-off and Conveying: The extruded product is pulled and conveyed from the cold extrusion machine into the downstream steaming chamber, ensuring a continuous flow of material.
3. Steaming Chamber: The product enters the chamber, where steam raises the temperature to cook and gelatinize the material.
4. Cooling: After cooking, the product is cooled down to lower its temperature, facilitating the subsequent cutting process.
5. Cutting: The cutting speed is adjusted based on the required shape and dimensions of the final product to meet specifications.6. Dryer: The product is dried to remove excess moisture and extend shelf life; additionally, the high-temperature process provides a secondary stage of cooking/gelatinization.
